
Bernard Badorrek
Clinical Director & Neurological Orthotist

Bernard Badorrek is a neurological orthotist specialising in the orthotic management of neurological disorders.
Bernard is the clinical director and founder of Orthomotion which he established over 10 years ago to provide an exceptional standard of orthotic management to people living with the effects of neurological conditions.
Bernard has over 20 years of experience in the orthotics profession having practiced in both private and public facilities, including Prince of Wales Hospital, Advance Rehab Centre and Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and Orthotic Consultants in Melbourne.
Bernard provides student clinical placement mentoring and supervision and delivers presentations and in-services to other medical and health practitioners on optimising neurological mobility impairment outcomes through lower limb orthotics.

Emily Watson
Operations Director
Emily joined Orthomotion in 2018 after a 20+ year career working in public policy and project management and governance for NSW and Federal government departments and community sector organisations.
Emily is an experienced senior governance manager, specialising in strategic planning and risk management, and social policy analyst and project manager, specialising in women’s issues and child protection.
Emily provides the corporate governance and business management framework necessary for Orthomotion to effectively deliver their vitally important services to clients. Emily also manages HR processes and business development activities to support the Orthomotion team and meet compliance requirements.

Maggie Elliott
Orthotist
BHSc (P&O), cOP-AOPA
Maggie is an experienced orthotist and prosthetist who brings strong clinical, technical and training skills to her role as an orthotist at Orthomotion. Maggie delivered orthotic and prosthetic services to clients throughout the Illawarra region in NSW for five years prior to joining Orthomotion and is excited to further develop her orthotic clinical and technical skills working with Orthomotion’s diverse, neurological client base.
Maggie has a proven track record in providing clinical education to local allied health professionals, has strong stakeholder engagement skills and understands the importance of developing effective multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best outcomes for her clients.
Maggie is an active member or her community and volunteers in range of local community organisations.

Emily Sampson
Team Leader – Allied Health Assistant
Emily provides leadership and training to Orthomotion’s team of Allied Health Assistants as a senior member of the AHA team. Emily also provides clinical, technical and administrative assistance to support our orthotists to provide orthotic supports and services to our clients.
Emily is a recent psychology graduate and commences as a provisional psychologist in 2025 having gained valuable experience working within the disability and health sector in her roles at Orthomotion.
Emily previously worked as a disability support worker and was constantly rewarded in her role supporting autistic children.

Olivia Langley
Allied Health Assistant
Olivia is currently completing a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree and combines her knowledge gained from her studies with her extensive customer service experience and junior sports coaching skills to deliver exceptional services to our clients.
Olivia is committed to making a difference in her role at Orthomotion and provides clinical administrative assistance across our operations and clinic teams to ensure we are providing the highest level of support to our clients.

Evie Chalmers
Allied Health Assistant
Evie is currently completing a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and brings experience working in disability support and administration to her role as AHA at Orthomotion.
Evie prides herself on her ability to learn new skills and build effective relationships with others and aims to pursue a career in acquired speech and language disorders once graduating.
Evie also tutors primary and high school students in literacy, numeracy and sciences, is a student representative at her current university and loves dancing.

Helena Miao
Allied Health Assistant
Helena has a keen interest in allied health services with a specific focus on assisting people to optimise their movement. Helena is interested in combining her exercise physiology qualifications with application of orthotic devices to achieve positive mobility goals for people.
Helena is currently completing a Master of Exercise Physiology and has a lengthy career as a swimming instructor and administrator at a swimming academy. Helena is committed and driven to helping people, both clients and her team members, to work well together to achieve the best outcomes for set goals.

Isabelle Maxwell
Allied Health Assistant
Isabelle is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Western Sydney University and has a strong interest in post-stroke rehabilitation which she hopes to further explore working at Orthomotion.
Isabelle is excited with the opportunity available at Orthomotion to gain practical experience working with clients in a healthcare environment which has a strong relationship with occupational therapy.
Isabelle brings her strong career background in customer service to the team to provide excellent support to Orthomotion’s clients.

Chloe Maynard
Allied Health Assistant
Chloe is currently studying a Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences at Wollongong University with a strong interest in pursuing a career in OT or dietetics.
Chloe has a long standing commitment and interest in healthcare and is keen to further develop her knowledge in the neurological field.
Chloe is a qualified paediatric swimming teacher and is excited to work with Orthomotion’s clients to provide them with a high level of service to support their mobility needs.

Chris Easton
Accounts Manager
Chris is a key member of Orthomotion’s team and responsible for managing and delivering a diverse range of accounting activities to ensure the effective financial management of our business operations.
Chris performs the critical tasks of receivables and banking reconciliations, management of payables and internal HR accounting processes to meet our financial compliance obligations.
Chris holds active memberships for both the Australian Bookkeepers Network and Australian Bookkeepers Association.
